Configuring the Internet Explorer Pop-up Blocker

Some versions of Internet Explorer have a built-in Pop-up Blocker. Usually you will get a message in a yellow bar located at the top of the page:

To configure the IE pop-up blocker:

1. Click on the yellow bar where indicated.

A drop-down menu opens with a few different options.

2. Click on Always Allow Pop-ups from This Site.

You should now be able to access .

3. If you are still getting the Pop-up message, please continue with the following steps.

Configuring the Google Toolbar Pop-up Blocker

The Google� toolbar Pop-up Blocker is simple to configure. The toolbar looks like this:

To configure the Google toolbar pop-up blocker:

1. In the toolbar, notice the button labeled '2 Blocked'.

NOTE!  Please note that your button may have a different number blocked.

2. While you are on the login page, click once on the 2 Blocked button.

The button is now labeled 'Pop-ups okay'.

The Pop-up Blocker for your site has now been configured for the Google toolbar.

3. Try to access again.

Remember: After your session in is over, please remember to turn your pop-up blocker back on.

Configuring the Yahoo! Toolbar Pop-up Blocker

It is fairly easy to configure the Yahoo!� toolbar Pop-up Blocker. This is what the Yahoo! toolbar looks like:

To configure the Yahoo! toolbar pop-up blocker:

1. Click on the down arrow next to the Pop-up Blocker button.

A drop-down menu opens with a few different options.

2. Select Always Allow Pop-ups From.

The following dialog opens:

3. Highlight the URL address for your in the Sources of Recently Blocked Pop-Ups list.

4. Click on the Allow button.

The URL address is now displayed in the Always Allow Pop-Ups From These Sources list:

5. Click the Close button.

6. Try to access again.

Configuring the AOL Toolbar Pop-up Blocker

AOL Toolbar is a fairly new toolbar from one of the big Online Providers. Like the others, this Toolbar offers multiple features, and appears in the browser as follows:

The following icon is the Pop-Up Blocker:

1. To allow Pop-ups to appear, merely click on the icon. You should now see the following:

2. Once this is done then you will be able to access the site.

Configuring the MSN Toolbar Pop-up Blocker

The MSN toolbar includes pop-up blocking. This is an example MSN toolbar:
